About us
The company SIMING d.o.o. with its headquarters in Jesenice na Dolenjskem was founded in 1993 as a private company by Simo and Veronika Vujanović. The company’s main activity is distribution, representation and service of mining, tunneling and low construction equipment. In year 2005, with the acquisition of representation for ThyssenKrupp Bauservice, the company SIMING also starts to rent equipment and passes into the area of special low construction. A good reputation and market success of the company SIMING in the area of former Yugoslavia has lead to a program of representations, which belongs to the world’s elite suppliers of mining equipment for underground exploitation as well as equipment for special low construction. How it all began........ Some representation programs such as today's ThyssenKrupp Bauservice or former KRINGS VERBAU extend back from the year 1976 where was mr. Simo Vujanović first employed as representative for the market on area of former Yugoslavia. After KRING-s mr. Vujanović continues in the firm Thyssen Rheinstahltechnik. After very successful years in the firm Thyssen and installment of mechanized longwall faces in the mines Breza and Mramor mr. Vujanović proceeds to work at that time in competitive companies Halbach & Braun and Klöckner Becorit while Thyssen is closing the mining equipment production in Duisburg. With the merger of the companies Klöckner Becorit and Westfalia from Lünen results the company Westfalia Becorit, to be later renamed into the firm DBT, under the concern Ruhrkohle AG. As a longtime partner of the companies Klöckner Becorit, Westfalia and in the end DBT we managed from the year 1997 to implement equipement for 3 new longwall faces in Premogovnik Velenje and two in mine RTH Trbovlje, which are specific with its unique "sublevel" excavation method and along this managed to acquire other worlds best mining equipment manufacturers, such as Eickhoff, Hauhinco, Knapheide, Thiele etc. From year 2008 SIMING terminates the representation contract with the firm DBT, which is overtaken by the American Bucyrus, and becomes the representative of the best group of Polish mining equipment manufacturer, the company KOPEX. Today..... Today the firm SIMING is lider for mining industry on EX-YU market and has a tendency of slow growth. At the moment the company has available warehouse and business facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Serbia. Requirement for continuous success still remains our friendly and correct relationship with our buyers, trust and business quality, that we benefit from foreign partners, delivery times, highest product quality, warranties as well as services through our partners or directly.
