Today hydraulic and pneumatic systems have become something that manufacturing and technology cannot be thought without. They allow that automatic operation procedures are executed mechanically. For decades now Knapheide group is a renowned manufacturer of quality and robust hydraulic systems. Knapheide GmbH Hydraulik-Systeme in Beckum with its daughter companies, that manufacture hydraulic hoses, hose manufacturing technology, conveying systems as well as electrohydraulic control systems, is as a group in position to offer "Made in Germany" from one location and without delivery delays.

Knapheide started in 1967 with hydraulic components for international mining and later also with manufacturing. In the last years Knapheide evolved from a renowned manufacturer of hydraulic hose lines, fittings, welding fittings and valves into an optimally branched out supplier for individualized and modern complete solutions. Flexibility, reliability and efficiency through individual engineering have contributed to consistent growth of market share.

At the same time requirements and needs for more automatized machines have grown. Today the whole group employs about 850 workers on app. 45.000 m² of manufacturing space and supplies its products to machine manufacturers (Liebherr, Terex, Caterpillar, etc.) with hydraulic applications worldwide.
